After being away for awhile, we are back and serious - let's keep this thing up!

Food&Family: We are a pair of high school sweethearts who eventually got married, settled down and are now the sleepy but proud parents of an adorably mischievous baby girl. Somehow over the years we’ve also acquired two dogs, a flock of homing pigeons, and more fish than you could count. We started this blog because really, really love food, and needed to figure out how to eat it in a way that makes us less fat; we also really, really love hanging out with our baby girl and needed to figure out how to do it in a way that makes us less poor. We figured a lot of people can relate, and we really love showing off our baby, so we’re documenting our experience. We’re basically pretty sure that no one but our parents will read this (hi Mom!), but on the off chance that someone we’re not related to happens upon this page, we wanted to make it worth your while by including yummy, healthy recipes and helpful links.
